General Information

Komachiya is situated 1 minute from Higashiyama underground station and ten mins from Sanjo station. It's 10 minute stroll from the Gion region and a lot of Kyoto sightseeing spots like Kiyomizudera, Yasaka Shrine, Nanzenji and Chion-in. The major amusement region of Kyoto is approximately 15 mins stroll or one subway stop. Komachiya is in a local shopping arcade.

The amenities and facilities attainable in the townhouse consist of kitchen, bathroom and two up-to-date and recent toilets. The four sleeping and two sitting apartments are all conventional Japanese tatami suites with a communal “doma” ante-room with dining desk and chairs. There is a panorama of a little Japanese park from the rear suites and the bathroom.

Komachiya is not a hotel but a rental townhouse. It's a conventional Kyoto “Machiya” townhouse which Kyoto is well-known for. The conventional Kyoto domestic experience able to be delighted by renting complete cottage that able to accommodate 2-7 persons. The exterior of the townhouse is like a Kyoto cottage from the Edo period.
