General Information

Bungalow Loghino is constructed at the feet of a wooded hill, on the right bank of Era river, in a zone full of excursion paths that are between woods, rivers and gully, in the center of a suggestive tuscan scenery. It's situated in the open state, totally gathered in greenish tonalities, nearly to guard the local fauna, restful numerous. Bungalow Loghino is at five kilometers from the historical city Volterra, its situation permits to the customers to receive easily the sea (40Km) and the major principal cities such as Siena (50Km), S. Gimignano (20Km), Florence (90Km) and Pisa (60Km). The story tells that Villa Loghino was aboriginally the 1st oil mill at Volterra, facilitated by the presence of harvesting olive fields and by the plenitude of the river waters. Then it was leaved apart and it became the cardinal cottage and then, only for few years, it was habitated by some families and farmers. In 1980 the entire property was bought by the pair Carla and Vittorio Scali, who began immediately a careful restauration of the proprietors cottage in order to produce it their summer months residence.

Transportation

Whether you arrive from Geneve-Pisa: Motorway exit Pisa Areoporto, Florence direction (FI-PI-LI four-lane motorway), exit Pondedera-Ponsacco, follow Volterra signs. ten Km from Volterra continue on the major highway and instead of following volterra signs, go on to Colle Val d'Elsa crossing a Era bridge. After approximately 6 Km you are to find a crossing with again Volterra signs (on the right). Turn left in CozzanoUlignano direction. From here and then turn everytime left, at each crossing you find. You'll find also some signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino. Whether you comefrom Rome and Grosseto (national highway Aurelia): Cecina exit, follow signs for Volterra. Once you receive Volterra cover the major highway and go on in Colle Val d'Elsa direction. At Roncolla (about four Km once you leave Volterra) turn left for Pisa-Pontedera. After approximately four Km you are to find a crossing with signs for Volterra (to the left). Turn right in CozzanoUlignano direction. From here and then you'll turn left, at every crossing you'll find. You'll find the signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino. Whether you arrive from Bologna-Florence: Motorway exit Firenze Certosa Siena direction(four-lane). Colle Val d'Elsa - Volterra exit and follow Volterra signs. At approximately four Km from Volterra, at Roncolla, turn right for Pisa-Pontedera. After approximately four Km you are to find a crossing with Volterra signs (to the left). Turn right in CozzanoUlignano direction. From here and then turn constantly left, at each crossing you'll find. You'll find also signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino. Whether you arrive from Siena - Grosseto - Rome (A1): Only for those who come from Rome: highway exit Val di Chiana, follow the signs for Siena. Raccordo autostradale Siena-Firenze (4 corsie) direzione Firenze, uscita Colle Val d'Elsa and follow Volterra signs. At approximately four Km from Volterra, at Roncolla, turn right for Pisa-Pontedera. After approximately four Km you'll find again signs for Volterra (to the left). Turn right to CozzanoUlignano direction. From here and then turn constantly left, at each crossing you'll find. You'll find also signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino.
