Hotel Stella Maris is a 4 star hotel facing the stunning whirlpool of Campulongu, a strip of shoreline overlooking west on the beach of Villasimius in Sardinia. Encircled by mastic, pine and juniper trees, Stella Maris was established over fifty years ago by the Jesuits, who saw this tranquil location as being the perfect place for tranquillity and meditation. Transportation

From Cagliari: Drive to Poetto Beach and follow the beach as far as Margine Rosso, where the coast ends. Take a right turn and follow the beach highway and after approximately 45 kms you will get to Villasimius. From Olbia: Drive along Highway 125 (Orientale Sarda). The vista is vivid but the highway itself is narrow and full of bends. You might prefer the longer route: Olbia - Nuoro - Cagliari along Highway 131. From Cagliari drive to Poetto Beach and follow the beach as far as Margine Rosso, where the coast ends. Take a right turn and follow the beach highway and after approximately 45 kms you will get to Villasimius. From Alghero: Take Highway 127 bis to Sassari and then down to Cagliari on Highway 131. Drive to Poetto Beach and follow the beach as far as Margine Rosso, where the coast ends. Take a right turn and follow the beach highway and after approximately 45 kms you will get to Villasimius. From Porto Torres: Drive down Highway 131 to Cagliari. Drive to Poetto Beach and follow the beach as far as Margine Rosso, where the coast ends. Take a right turn and follow the beach highway and after approximately 45 kilometers you will get to Villasimius.
