Hotel Rigel Venice

General Information

The inn Rigel, built in the 60's, is located on one of the majority indispensable islands of Venice. Its importance and uniqueness are thanks to being the incomparable one overlooking the Adriatic Sea on one side and on the other the dock of St. Mark's, just before the historical Square of St. Mark's, center of the old Republic of Venice. Another distinctive that makes it specific, compared to all other islands of the Lagoon, is the chance to get to it by auto, avoiding problems and costs of car-parking either in Mestre (mainland) or at the Tronchetto (car-park). The hotel features 42 apartments on 3 floors connected by elevator. The apartments nearly all have classical-style furniture and accessories, are luminous, some with a little terrace and all with bathroom, shower, air conditioning, phone with straight outside line, satellite television, and a wi-fi i-net connection. There is an i-net point in the Hall. The Buffet breakfast offered is included in the price and is open from seven, 00 to ten, 00 a.m. in the dining room on the 1st floor, whilst the restaurant is only open for organised groups. The inn brasserie is open days on end a day. Owing to its modest size and the straight presence of the proprietors in the management, Hotel Rigel ensures special care to the sincere reception of its visitors and the personnel do all they able to to ensure a welcome that not just proposes their clients outstanding professionalism but further lets them feel a small less like travellers and more as whether they were at home.

Transportation

Tutto il centro storico di Venezia e stata costruita su un micro-arcipelago di non meno di 100 isole, divise da 177 canali e collegate fra loro da oltre 350 ponti. L'hotel, in Via Enrico Dandolo 13 al Lido, si trova a soli cinque minuti dai servizi pubblici per l'imbarcazione, con frequenza ogni dieci minuti durante il giorno e ogni mezz'ora durante la notte, che collega il Lido con un 1215 minuti di tragitto a s. San Marco 'Arrivando in treno: dalla Stazione S. Lucia si puo scegliere il seguente: o la navigazione pubblica, linea 51 o 61, lo sbarco al Lido, SMElisabetta, o un cab acqueo privato che e molto piu veloce ma anche piu costosi. Durante il periodo estivo (giugno agosto) si puo raggiungere anche il Lido prendendo la linea di battello turistico no. two. Arriva in car pullman: se si decide di raggiungere l'hotel in car pullman e sufficiente seguire le indicazioni Venezia-Lido, imbarco Ferry Boat, situato alla marvellous del lungo ponte che collega Venezia alla terraferma: la linea traghetto pubblico e N. 17. E anche possibile lasciare l'auto in uno dei parcheggi di Piazzale Roma o dell'isola del Tronchetto. Si deve fare il primo, prendere il vaporetto numero 51 o 61, per i secondi, prima bisogna arrivare a Piazzale Roma prendere uno dei bus navetta. In entrambi i casi, scendere alla fermata Lido, Piazzale S. Maria Elisabetta. Arriva in aereo: dall'aeroporto Marco Polo, ci sono due opzioni attraverso l'acqua: la barca pubblico Alilaguna o il cab acqueo, che e certamente piu veloce, ma anche piu costosi.
