General Information

The Hotel is located in the center of the romantic town of Venice, in a very tranquil situation despite the fact it is only 200 metres from the good St. Mark's Square and the noted Rialto Bridge.

It is the best beginning point to set off via the alleys to explore the majestic memorials and distinctive boutiques which hide all the old, interesting mysteries of Venice.

The hotel takes its name from the illustrious Venetian artist, Antonio Canal, who was known as Canaletto. Those apartments where the artist used to live (1697-1768) have now become our attractive hotel suites.

A hospitable, superb, romantic adn tranquil ambiance equipped in distinctive 18th century Venetian fashion, with stuccowork, damask, hand lacquered and gilded furniture, Murano glass mirrors and lamps.

All apartments are soundproofed and have individual bathroom with shower or bath, air conditioning, phone, minibar, sat TV, hair dryer and secure. There are also our more excellent rooms with vistas of the canal or the characteristic piazza with the well-curb.

The luxurious social suites (breakfast suite, brasserie, TV suite, I-net point) are all enhanced with stuccowork and the old smoothed lime finish, and have some delightful reproduction of Canaletto's works on the walls.
