By CAR From Highway A/3 Napoli - Salerno go towards Naples till the Castellammare di Stabia exit. Take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and continue on SS 145 for approximately 23 Km, continue through different various cities before arriving in Sorrento (Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant'Agnello). Sorrento is about 48 kms from Naples and is approximately a 1 hour drive without traffic. By BUS From the Tiburtina Station in Rome, Marozzi buses leave daily for the Sorrentine Peninsula. The SITA line departs daily for Amalfi, S. Agata sui due Golfi and Massa Lubrense (making all the stops in the various cities on the way) with departures each half hour or so from the Sorrento Train Station. There is also a daily bus that departs from Assisi for Sorrento. By TRAIN. From the Napoli Centrale Piazza Garibaldi of the Ferrovie dello Stato, where trains arrive from the major Italian towns, the Circumvesuviana local trains depart providing daily facilities approximately each 30 mins to Sorrento. The journey takes a small over an hour and no reservations are important. By PLANE From the ARRIVALS terminal at the Naples Capodichino airport, Curreri buses are accessible daily to take you to the Sorrentine Peninsula.
