The picturesque room complex Castello di Monteliscai close to Siena, was constructed before the year 1000 - but better news points to the year 1101 during the antique Sienese Republic - and is located on the summit of a hill in one of the plurality strategic panoramic positions of the region, just 3 kilometers from Siena and close to the Chianti area. Every suite freshly underwent careful restoration to maintain original architectonic and decorative details. The Malafrasca Farm situated next to the suite complex, and run by the same proprietors, produces d.o.c.g. Chianti wine, supplementary virgin olive oil, Vin Santo and Chianti grappa.
