Situated in the centre of Rome - close to the outstanding Piazza del Popolo and neighboring to the plurality dainty mall center. Our hotel opened its art deco doors in 1925 as a 5 star. After the 2nd world war, the Locarno re-opened, currently maintaining a four star status and was voted one of the best hotel in the category by Hip Hotels.
The Locarno seems everytime prepared to be a film set, not just because it's the inn of film directors, actors, script-writers and artists that you often meet at the brasserie or riding a bike, but besides because it was the set of Bernard Weber's [1978] award winning movie "Hotel Locarno".
