an old Roman quarter only minute's stroll from the Colosseum and
Rome Termini Railway Station. This tranquil location makes the guesthouse ideal
for both treveller and work lodging, with social transportation
and Rome's most popular landmarks right on our doorstep.

Location Information

There are greatly few locations to rival 'Monti'. This old quarter is now one of Rome's most modish residential, shopping and eating out areas. Frequent guests to Rome will appreciate the similarity to Trastevere; a maze of atmospheric vennels, lined with 'palazzi', artisan boutiques, elegant 'ristorante' and even several conventional pubs. However, whilst Trastevere is poorly catered by mass transport, Monti is within 10 min stroll from Termini station.

The bountifulness of antiquities within cosy short distance of the Hotel Raffaello is phenomenal. Vespasian's majestic Colosseum is 5 min stroll, the Imperial Roman Forum, home of the Roman senate is around five hundred meters from the inn. Continue towards Piazza Venezia on streets once walked by Julius Cesar and then on to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. The Spanish Steps are near hand, and the Vatican lies immediately on the other side of the Tiber.
