Residence Borgo la Fornace Poppi

General Information

Situated in the feudal city of Poppi in tuscan coutryside, 50 mins from Florence: it is a legendary land wealthy with palaces and old-fashioned countrysides. Amongst them is Poppi, member of the club I Borghi piu belli d'Italia (the most alluring countrysides of Italy) whose character preserves the charm of the antique Italy. Surrounding is found the Casentino National Park that encompasses greatly well protected woodland of outstanding naturalistic interest, making it a pleasing heart for strolls and trekking. It is a land that peaceful preserves antique wine and gastronomic traditions: ham, cheese, the characteristic Casentino cloth manufacturing, carved stone and wrought ironwork. Surrounding are situated the Frescobaldi's vineyard Chianti Rufina where is possible to organise estates stay and wine tasting. How to receive here: By trainIn Arezzo station change for train Arezzo-Stia and receive off at the stop Porrena. From there stroll 1 minute to Borgo La Fornace, the pink bungalows in Via Porrenese. By auto driving NorthTake exit Arezzo from the motorway A1, take direction centre and take SR 71 direction Casentino- Bibbiena. Keep going in direction Ponte a Poppi and passed the countryside at the roundabout follow direction Stia, then turn the 1st right and produce a left at the stop. We are at the pink bungalows on the right. By auto driving SouthTake exit Firenze Sud from road A1, after the tollgate keep going direct on the highway mix SP127, take exit for Viale Europa direction Bagno a ripoli, Pontassieve, and keep going direct, passed Pontassieve turn left direction Poppi and Casentino on the SR 70. Pass the countrysides of Diacceto, Consuma and Borgo la Collina, then passed the highway sign Poppi, after approximately 45 kilometers from the tollgate, at the roundabout take direction Stia, then turn the 1st right and left at the stop. We are at the pink bungalows on the right. Take exit Cesena Nord from the motorway A14, keep going direct on the E45, take the exit Bagno di Romagna, pass the Passo dei Mandrioli, Badia Prataglia and take direction Soci and then Ponte a Poppi. Passed the countryside of Ponte a Poppi at the roundabout take direction Stia, then turn the 1st right and left at the stop. We are at the pink bungalows on the right.
