General Information

La Moraia (the blackberries place) is a typical farmhouse complex, located in the centre of Chianti village close to the countryside of Talciona, halfway between Siena and Florence. The premises is situated upon a lovely hill within a large natural resort (restocking game reserve for pheasants, hares and wild boars). The family-managed farmhouse have constantly been producing supplementary vergine olive oil and Chianti wine from the 23 ha. nearby the premises. Since 11 years have also been breeding trotter horses, in addition to this La Moraia proposes also the possibility for our dear guests to put their horses to board. In 1994 the farmhouses have been totally renovated and now propose twelve (2-roomed,3-roomed and 4-roomed) rooms. Last refurbishment was in year 2006. The rooms have been embellished and catered in the conventional tuscan fashion, but simultaneously provide all up-to-date facilities such as central heating,microwave,fireplace,TV,dishwasher,fridge,american coffee machine,etc. Pleasant is the contrast between the up-to-date kitchen units and the ancient fashion furnitures in the other rooms(wooden beam roofs and terracotta tile floors). Most of the suites are furnished with hearth. At the entire disposal of the clients there are also token washing machines and dryers, self-sufficient covered parking and open-air BBQs. The ground proposes peace and a capacious panorama accross the gorgeous Chianti mountains and furthermore brags a 7x14 m swimming pool(with a outstanding view view) for the stylish use of our dear guests. The open-air pool is open from 15. 04 to 07. 11 ca. By previous demand able to be arranged mountain bikes rentals for unforgettable trips in the nearby village.
