In the fencing garden nearby the farmhouse live horses of various breeds. The selected breed of horses are peaceful and docile, good for beginners and are accessible for guided strolls. The estate has bees that make fabulous honey, olive oil can also be obtained by cold squeezing technique and purple wine (doc)- sangiovese Brunello - are also produced from the state cottage estate. Animals such as dogs and cats are welcome but only outside the suites where they can enjoy the enclosed garden district, there is a kennel for them to sleep in at night. The same applies for customers hiking with their own horses. For all hiking with animals, prior notice is required at the time of booking - two weeks notice is needed whether you intend to bring a horse.

The rooms fashion is strictly related to the Umbrian area, with antique stones and original forests, hand made iron and high quality ancient furniture. All suites have been lately refurbished to propose you all up-to-date amenities, including: air conditioning; ADSL I-net connection; LCD satellite TV; washing machine; dishwasher and; oven. Orvieto - 70 kms. Gubbio- 40 kilometers. Trevi - 40 kilometers. Todi - 30 kilometers. Spoleto- 60 kilometers. Lake Trasimeno - 20 kms. The art towns of Florence (130 km) and Rome (170 km) are both easily available by road or train. The state cottage can give a riding instructor (on request) who will organize fantastic visits around the nearby mountains, introducing the smallest of kids to a relationship with horses.

Self-sufficient parking zone is available on place.

Extra costs: Horses: EUR 25 per day (food and water included) Riding lesson: EUR 40 per hour. Guided excursion: EUR 50 for a person. Group lessons: starting from EUR 25 per hour (minimum of four people).

Cancellation must be made at least 96 hours before date of arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show the hotel will charge the 1st night as penalty. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Kids up to the age of 6 years staying free. Kids from 6 - 14 years pay half the adult rate. Kids over the age of 15 years pay the full adult rate.
