State House Poggio del Drago Bed and Breakfast originates from an old-time rustic stonecottage, primarily built at the end of the nineteenth-century and newly reconstructed, keeping the rustic architecture and combining it with the comforts of the current world. Built on 2 levels, the lower floor is totally dedicated to the BandB that stands in themiddle of a hectare garden, with age-old oaks, an olive grove and encircled by a fence. You are able to enjoy a range of paths via the nature, along with a lovely swimmingpool, that reflects greenish of the trees and a thousand reflects from the stainless sky. A sensually perfumed park will stimulate your senses with its jasmines, creeping rosesand aromatic plants such as rosemary and lavender. State House Poggio del Drago BandB is the ideal shelter for those searching for analternative holiday, with all comforts and solitude, encircled by the pleasing natureand millenary traditions. Nothing will disturb the almost absolute quiet, where silencespontaneously leads you to unwind, relax and meditation. In the meanwhile, the geographic situation of the BandB is strategic to quickly get to manyart towns, prime countrysides and for gorgeous trips in the midst of the nature. You'll be enchanted by the light and the colors for their intense brightness, fascinatedby the shades of the dawn and the sunset and you'll fall in love with Tuscany'swonderful contrast of perfumes and bunchs of flowers, a genuine heaven of indescribable beauty anduncontaminated nature.

Transportation

Poggio del Drago BandB is situated in Civitella in Val di Chiana, 600 m far from the provincial highway that connects Arezzo with Valdarno, between Ponticino and Pieve a Maiano, 9 kilometers far from Arezzo. For those coming from Valdarno, go pass the countryside of Ponticino, after one kilometer turn right and continue 600 metres on the state highway (easily drivable and with signs). For those coming from Arezzo, two kilometers after Pieve a Maiano, turn left and keep the state highway as before. For those coming from A1 Milano-Napoli, exit Arezzo, continue towards the town, exit Ponte a Chiani. Follow the signs for Montevarchi (SP 69), go pass Indicatore, Pieve a Maiano and after two kilometers you'll find our signs on the left. Our BandB is approximately ten kilometers far from the motorway exit.
