General Information

The four-star Residence Borgo San Francesco is a recently reconstructed fascinating residence with a cluster of small bungalows (once farm houses) and privately-owned patios and terraces that have an prestigious feel to them. There is also a swimming pool conveniently located where the sun everytime shines and a beautiful dining place with floor to ceiling windows that extremely enhance the eating experience. Our restaurant is committed to making sure you experience the full overflow of Sicilian foods and wine, serving above all, country- fashion local dishes. We specialize in the essence of conventional, local cuisine using only the freshest products sometimes grown only several kilometers from the Borgo. Whilst being dipped in this enveloping ambience, one is also in the immediate vicinity of the fascinating seaside resort city of Gioiosa Marea (only three, five kilometers away, of mostly direct roads) and able to comfortably stay other districts of Sicily whilst using our Borgo as a base for planning trips, in addition to a restful, clean site to return to. There is also a famous apartment with a hearth and reading district with plenty of books and maps on the region and the island on whole.
