This not big, hospitable hotel offers fabulous lake vistas, encircled by 6 hectares of olive trees in the Lake Garda national garden. The Villa Florida Suites & Suite suites is owned and run by the Cipani family, who have been hoteliers since 1956. Here you’ll be encircled by the lemons, mandarins, oranges and grapefruits that grow in the region according to age-old traditions. Set amongst bougainvillea, oleanders and showy geraniums are an open swimming pool and a little children’s pool. There is also a capacious verandah for sunbathing and toys, with open-air giant chess, ping-pong and a barbecue. For those who enjoy prime food, in the evenings able to be spent sampling some tasty local peculiarities, whilst the inn friendly staff will everytime be pleased to recommend and reserve some pleasant romantic lakeside restaurants, or happy trattorias hidden up in the mountains.
