Hiking on the A1 motorway, exit at "Firenze Certosa" and turn immediately left, in the direction of Florence "centro" (centre). You'll pass a countryside called Galluzzo; continue direct ahead for approximately five km in the direction of "Porta Romana" (Porta Romana Square). When you arrive in the piazza, take the 1st right into "Viale Machiavelli". Continue direct ahead and take the 2nd right into "Via Michele di Lando", where Hotel Villa Carlotta is situated on the left hand side of the highway.
