How to get to the Hotel Balestri: · Arriving from MILANO - VERONA - VENEZIA - BOLOGNA (A1 southbound) or GENOVA - PISA (A11 eastbound): follow the signes to Roma and exit the road at FIRENZE SUD · Arriving from ROMA (A1 northbound): exit the road at FIRENZE SUD Drive along Via Marco Polo, then across the Arno river and turn left at the traffic-lights; direct along downstream (Arno river on your left) for approximately five kilometers (3 miles); turn directly at the traffic-lights into Viale Giovanni Amendola, move to the left lane; at the next traffic-lights turn left twice. At the spacious stone stronghold turn right, drive along the riverside till Piazza Cavalleggeri. Restricted traffic region from here (Z.T.L.): note the vast white sign allowing access to the hotels, and Hotel Balestri: drive along Corso dei Tintori; at the traffic-lights drive into the narrow highway opposite on your left Via Vagellai, and you'll be in Piazza Mentana, where Hotel Balestri is situated.
