Open ALL YEARThe "Nido del Pellegrino" is situated on the Favignana’s Grosso coastline, making approximately seven ha. of ground dropping to the sea and obtained restoring an old military structure dating back to World War II and it’s intended for persons searching a lounging and reserved harbour: a Mediterranean oasis, tonic and characterised by its scents adn tranquil. Those who appreciate a easy fashion without abandoning exquisite settings will appreciate the fascination of this spot, which the inhabitants call "the most appealing spot in Favignana" and when the Guest looks from the veranda at the breath-taking Mediterranean Sea and its sunsets, he cannot assist sharing such opinion. Along with all the amenities provided, Nature plays the actual major character. The naming “Nido del Pellegrino" features not been a casual choice: the Traveller and the Falcon. Sure, here the peregrine falcon is the unquestioned lord and master of the sky; there are plenty of seagulls, but falcons are the native mountain residents and lords of the sky. Instead, on the ground there is a generous flourishing of Mediterranean endemic flora: garlic to rocket, asparagus to caper, prickly pears, wild fennel, carobs, dwarf palms, olive groves, and the like… all natural and wild, scattered in the coastline district and clinging via the grooves of the sea-touched rocks. In his walk towards the sea the Guest passes through long forgotten scents, astounding colours, seagulls on the wing and swirling falcons, natural gardens and rocks perched above sea. All these in the lonely region, conserved from curious or indiscreet glances. Some platforms and a lineup have been purposed to ease bathing and diving from the stones.
