Transportation

Castelvetro is situated amongst the mountains between Modena and Bologna, at the start of the Appennini, on the Way of Flavours and Wines. The Hotel Guerro is 35 Km far from Bologna, 15 Km from Modena, seven km from Maranello and its Ferrari museum, five kilometres from Vignola and 8 Km from the A1 highway exit. Florence (130 Km), Verona (120), Milan (150) and Venice (190) are not too far, and well linked to our area via the motorway. At the A1 motorway's exit 'Modena Sud', turn RIGHT, following the directions to go to Modena. After few hundreds m you'll discover a highway on your left: turn LEFT following the signs for Castelvetro. (from that point there are also the signs that point to the Hotel Guerro) From then, the highway is everytime the major one, and passes via the small countrysides of San Vito, Settecani (at the traffic lights go straight) and Ca di Sola (at the traffic lights go direct on). You'll find the Hotel as you get to Castelvetro: it's a brand-new building with 3 floors on your left, on the other side of the river, just before the bridge that leads to Vignola. On the bridge turn left and after few metres there is our car park.
