Agostino: The church was built between 1406 and 1437, with an apse on the east side and a bell stronghold with a strong gothic influence. The inside presents several baroque properties. Hemp Ecomuseum: The building, constructed in 1905, was once used for the production of hemp ropes. Today it houses the ecomuseum where this antique craft is illustrated. The town's image in Italy and in Europe is most definitely thanks its Savoyard palace, presented World Heritage status by UNESCO. The city is an essential part of the area's circuit of former royal residences. The Castle: Built in the baroque period, it was once the residence of King Carlo Alberto (1798/1849) in addition to the last kings of Italy. Pralormo, ANCIENT FEUD The countryside, located only 10 minutes from Carmagnola, is a must for art and heritage admirers. The Castle: Pralormo Castle has undergone different transformations, from an antique fortress to an aristocratic residence in the 18th century. It's silent lived in by its original proprietors, the Beraudo Counts of Pralormo. The palace is encircled by splendid English-style terraces, planned in the 1800s by scenery gardener Xavier Kurten, also responsible for the Royal Palace of Racconigi. The palace can only be visited upon prior reservation.
