Bungalow Rosmarino is situated on Mount Portofino, a preserved region that stretches out into the open sea, a natural border between the Golfo Paradiso and Golfo del Tigullio. The Mount is a regional garden of renowned natural interest where sea, rocks and vegetation merge ideally to establish memorable landscape. The Mount rises just above Camogli, one of the majority renowned and captivating fisherman’s countryside in Liguria. Built in 1907 over a pre-existing structure, Villa Rosmarino is a distinctive ligurian little castle with green shutters and trompe l’oeil which reproduce on the wall frescos, decorations and floral motifs. The big garden of Villa Rosmarino surrounds the cottage in a distinctive ligurian style. An immense magnolia tree and some chamelias spread their fragrance on the Mount side, whilst climbing roses, gardenias, pomegranate trees and geraniums will lead your stroll toward the swimming pool region. Lemon, tangerine and grapefruit trees bloom just outside the roomy opening doors of the drawing room whilst the lavender and rosemary bordered lawn that surrounds the swimming poll hosts the ancient mill grindstone and an antique retorted fig tree. Clients able to admire these colors whilst conveniently sunbathing on the hall chairs and beds around the big swimming pool. The villa’s interiors are defined by present-day furnishing and Italian design, not just as far as the pieces of furniture are concerned but in addition for the presence of works of art by modern international artists. The internal decoration is lounging and soothing for the plurality demanding traveler. Extensive sofas, a communal designer long desk, a stylish hearth define the living room, whilst the library with a long balcony overlooking the pool and Golfo Paradiso, invites to reading time thank to sofas and chairs of mixed up-to-date and deco period, encircled by walls of art, literature, communication and design books.
