The vacation home Borgo Fratta at Barberino Mugello, hilly resort close to Florence, features antique origin from the Medicean time. The Hamlet is an antique hunting cottage of the Medici, renewed with attention in each detail, completely made of stone, are divided into 2 buildings, with an immense garden, partly consecrated to individual homes and partly obtainable to all guests. The ambiance is that of a restful and elegant farmhouse, with majesticly furnished suites that meet the Tuscan convention, a spacious garden, and a pool with sun verandah. At Borgo La Fratta you are able to spend days relaxing in the cozy suites, in the park or poolside in facade with a peerless view of Lake Sling, the biggest lake in Tuscany. Alternatively, from the vacation home you are able to stay the major cities of Tuscany and all the municipalities of Mugello. Florence is directly twenty kilometers, Lucca 60, Siena 75, Pisa 70, San Gimignano 50, Volterra 70, Bologna 50 kilometers. The countryside is close to Florence and allows our dear guests to spend the relaxation of the day and then by the fabulous stillness of Mugello. In the region, there are occasions for shopping (Designer Outlet), sports amenities (Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, the Mugello International racecourse), and beautiful nature trails for touring. The premises covers 3 hectares and is completely fenced, customers able to visit in unwind, sunbathe, stroll, see the animals of the Apennines, cooking on forest stove in stone, produce picnic and let the kids play in the whole security. You are able to rent mountain bikes for wonderful walks along the lake or appreciate the picturesque scenery that lead to Castle Trebbio. Close to the countryside Fratta you are able to rent canoes and windsurfing on the lake to live in a lounging and prime.

Transportation

After A1 road Barberino del Mugello exit, follow highway signs for Cavallina and San Giovanni in Petroio; drive along the panoramic highway following the lake side; after you pass the blend for Latera, take the 2nd highway on the right.
