All common suites, the restaurant, the brasserie, Internet point and the brasserie hall, the TV hall and the shop are air-conditioned. The hotel also has two outdoor swimming pools (1 for children), two tennis court with lighting, a minigolf course, a bowls court, a playground, a landingstage for delights crafts, meeting Room. As the hotel is just by the sea major activities are connected to water sports such as windsurf, diving, canoing, water-ski. One can also enjoy going by mountain bike or trekking and visit the surrounds of this enchanted gulf. The hotel organise directly excursions by sea and by land, departing directly from the hotel and of course night amusement for all (disco, cabaret).

A few proposal are made by our restaurant's cook, starting from the wealthy breakfast's snack bar to those menus where particular dishes both catalan and sardinian have the major role. Daily productions of pastries and cakes by our Chef Patissier complete our propose in the catering. Restaurant facilities for snack and dinner is italian fashion with all courses choosen from a daily-changed carte given by our maitres d'hotel and catered by our chefs de rang. From the 2nd half of June 2000 will be working the recent food point at the Hotel's Bar where it will be possible to have a light snack with fantasy pasta, showy salads, delicious sandwiches and lunches, marvellous pastries and cakes.

The Hotel Portoconte directly faces the sea and is situated in the gorgeus creek of Porto Conte, only 12 Km away from Alghero. These part of Sardinia are widely-known all over Europe. The gulf of Porto Conte that you can get passing by the excellent prehistorical Nuraghe of Palmavera is characterized by the rockly high shores that end with the incredible Capo Caccia, close to the Island of Foradada and Neptune's Caves.

By plane The Fertilia-Alghero's International Airport is connected to the major italian airports, lasts only 15 minuts from our Hotel. By boat Genova/Porto Torres daily departures. 20 mins transfer from Porto Torres to our Hotel. Civitavecchia/olbia, then two hours transfer to the Hotel.

Before the arrival in hotel: - till 7/7/2006 and from 9/9/2006: * free: prior to two days before arrival * 1 night penalty charge: within two days of arrival - from 8/7/2006 to the 8/9/2006 * free: prior seven days before arrival * 50% entire staying penalty charge: within seven days of arrival During all periods we will charge the whole rate, in case of no-show or early departure. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

From 8th July to the 8th September: four days before date of arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show the hotel will charge 50% of the total amount of the staying. In all other months: two days before date of arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show the hotel will charge the 1st night as penalty. During all periods the hotel will charge the total amount of the staying in case of early departure.
