General Information

The aim of Old Irish Seasons is to offer an all round Irish vacation experience. Skahard Country House proposes everything from B & B lodging to fully organized and designed weekends for a maximum of six people. Skahard House is a 200-year-old Georgian farmhouse re-equipped to reflect a way of life in Ireland of ancient. It's a "boutique hotel" embedded in the tranquil, pastoral backdrop of Limerick, which is an old city primarily founded by the Vikings. Geographically, the guesthouse is entirely placed to go through an astonishing amount of Ireland's sites and activities in day trips. The cottage and grounds are situated on our individually owned farm, with lush rolling fields, wild life sanctuary and prehistoric remains of a authentic two, 500 year ancient ring fort on Skahard hill, with scenic vistas of the nearby village. Vacation relaxation is spent relaxing in our open-air jacuzzi, playing croquet, reading in the greenhouse or strolling undisturbed on our lands. All contemporary convenience are offered for including flat screen TV (lounge and bedrooms), I-net, open-air jacuzzi, piped music, library of Irish books, music and movies.

For the B & B option we provide conventional Irish breakfasts. There is a range of conventional Irish meals for the half board and full board choices. Special requirements (allergic, vegetarian etc. ) are served for.

Coming from Galway or ShannonCo. Clarefollow the N18 highway direct into Limerick City center. Cross the Shannon river and keep going direct.
