Lord Edward lodging was constructed in the mid-eighteenth century. Formely known as the Leinster Lodge this historic cottage features been reinvented into a 18 en-suite bedrooms. The Lord Edward is situated beside a Norman palace in Kildare Town which was, in the thirteenth century, one of the majority indispensable palaces in Leinster, ranking with the palaces at Kilkenny, Carlow and Ferns. Transportation

From Dublin Airport take the second exit off the roundabout (signposted Dublin) to combine the highway M1. From here, branch left (signposted M50 southbound) and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the M50. You'll pass the westlink toll bridge (cost 1.80), take fusion 9 to leave motorway and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit to N7. Follow this highway direct to unite M7 (signposted Limerick, Cork). Then follow till you arrive to mix 9 (M9) and visit right. Take the exit to Kildare Town.
