This prestigious, twenty-two bedroomed hotel combines each contemporary comfort with an individual ambiance of ease and homeliness. This goes hand in hand with superior vivid taste and 1st-class management - properties that are constantly in evidence. The Headfort Arms Hotel was acquired by our hosts, Tom and Peggy Duff, in 1972. They have made plenty of improvements to the hotel since then, but without interfering with the original architecture. The bedrooms, all en room, have each up-to-date amenity including central heating, radio, tv and straight dial phone. In 1990 a recent restaurant was opened in the hotel, The Loyd Restaurant, where peculiar emphasis is positioned on greatly high quality cuisine in a warm hospitable ambiance. The delightful reception district, with cool lounges and friendly cocktail brasserie, renewed in 1993, sets the pattern for a cheerful vacation. In 1995 a peculiar function apartment was added, The Kenlis Suite, with extremely elaborate decoration, co-ordinating napkins, bunchs of flowers, linen and crockery. A reception/lounge region was also added. The Suite has a dividing wall to serve for big or little parties and a dainty greenhouse to the rear which faces landscaped terraces.
