By auto: To reach The Western, we recommend you follow these directions: Coming from Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Shannon follow the highway signs for Galway. As you approach Galway follow the downtown signs and continue towards Eyre Square. We are situated 100 yards before you get to Eyre Square on your right hand side. To enter our auto garden take the last right-hand turn before The Western, then 2 sharp lefts will bring you direct to us. By train or bus: Galways train and bus stations are situated in the downtown, and just a three minute stroll from the Western. On exiting the station, take a left, heading towards Eyre Square Walk to right of piazza, passing OConnells brasserie and NTL offices on right At corner of Richardsons pub, take a right onto Prospect Hill Continue along Prospect Hill and the Western is ahead on the left-hand side By air: Galway Airport is situated at Carnmore, just 8km north of the town.
