Area information
Cork was the European Capital of Culture for 2005, and as such it displays some picturesque and particular sights, including: The church stronghold of Shandon - Dominating the North side of the town. It's known by locals as The Four-Faced Liar, as from the base of the building, every clock overlook appears to show a various time. Shandon is available to the social, and the bells may be rung by customers. Avenue. Patrick Street - The major shopping avenue. Remodelled in the years up to 2004, it brags outstanding buildings along its broad boulevard. Shire Hall Tower - The tallest building in the Republic of Ireland.

By auto: - From the airport, drive out of the airport and take the first exit off the roundabout (towards Cork city). - At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit for the downtown. - At the 3rd set of traffic lights, take a left. - Drive direct through one set of traffic lights. - Keep left at the mix. - Take a directly at the next set of traffic lights. - Drive direct along the quay till you get to a T-junction with St. Finbarre's Cathedral on your left. - Take a directly at the traffic lights. - When you get to the quay, take a left. - The entry to Lancaster Lodge is on your left before the bridge. - From Waterford, in the suburbs of Cork City, take the exit off the dual carriageway for the Lee Tunnel - South Ring Road. - This brings you onto a roundabout. Take the exit for the Lee Tunnel - South Ring Road West. - On the South Ring Road, take the slip highway signposted Cork City Centre/ Cork Airport. - This brings you onto the Kinsale Road Roundabout where you take the last exit for Cork City Centre. - At the 3rd set of traffic lights, take a left (there are overhead lights at this junction). - Drive direct through one set of traffic lights. - Keep left at the combination (you will see Cork College of Commerce over the river). - Take a directly at the next set of traffic lights (the river will be on your right-hand side). - Drive direct along the quay till you get to a T-junction with St. Finbarre's Cathedral on your left, take a directly at the traffic lights. - When you get to the quay, take a left. - Just before the bridge, the Lancaster Lodge entry barrier is on your left. - From Killarney, take the N22 to Cork. - Upon reaching Cork, you'll be on a Ring Road system. - Go through the first roundabout (Bandon Roundabout) and second roundabout (Sarsfield Roundabout), and at the 3rd Roundabout (Kinsale/Airport Roundabout) take the exit for the City Centre (2nd exit). - At the 3rd set of traffic lights, take a left. - Drive direct through one set of traffic lights. - Keep left at the fusion. - Take a directly at the next set of traffic lights (the river will be on your right). - Drive direct along the quay till you get to a T-junction with St. Finbarre's Cathedral on your left, where you take a directly at the traffic lights. - When you get to the quay, take a left. - The entry to Lancaster Lodge is on your left before the bridge. - Via the N8 in the suburbs of Cork City, take the second exit off the Dunkettle Roundabout for the Lee Tunnel - South Ring Road West. - On the South Ring Road, take the slip highway signposted Cork City Centre/Cork Airport. - This brings you onto the Kinsale Road Roundabout, where you take the last exit for Cork City Centre. - At the 3rd set of traffic lights, take a left (there are overhead lights at this junction). - Drive direct through one set of traffic lights. - Keep left at the mix and you'll see Cork College of Commerce over the river. - Take a directly at the next set of traffic lights (the river will be on your right-hand side). - Drive direct along the quay till you get to a T-junction with St. Finbarre's Cathedral on your left, where you take a directly at the traffic lights. - When you get to the quay, take a left. - Just before the bridge, the entry to Lancaster Lodge is on your left. Cancellation policy
Cancellations made up to 24 hours before arrival are free. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival or no-shows, one night of the booking will be charged to the credit card provided. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Child policy
When sharing with at least two groun-ups, kids up to the age of five years staying for self-sufficient. Kids from 5-12 years of age staying at 50% of the adult rate. No additional beds can be positioned in the apartment.
