Monarch Safari Lodge is situated at Masinagudi in the Nilgiri foothills in Tamilnadu, India, encircled by mountains and trees, at the edge of Madumalai well known for its elephants and tigers. The jungle teems with plenty of other wild species--gaur, sambhar, gaint indian squirrels, mouse deer, wild dogs and much more. The range of birds flitting in and out of trees produce birdwatchers drool. The rural area is nice at any time of the year.
