Kids will enjoy playing in the swimming pool, in the extensive park with a lot of trees or at the playground. Self-sufficient games and self-sufficient parking are accessible. A washing machine with all the amenities you need is also present.

All suites are extensive (20 sqm) and propose a balcony with chairs and desk to end your day in a relaxing way or to dry your swimming things. Of course all drinks can be catered at your desk as well. There's a motto at the brasserie: "One Raki a day keeps the doctor away". On demand homemade cakes or wafers are baked just for you.

There are different sandy beaches in Matala and nearby. The coast in the creek of Matala is the one which is easiest to get to with kids. Deck chairs and sun shades are accessible (surcharge). A small climbing tour is needed to get to Red Beach, a special sandy coast with free access to the refreshing water. At the other side of Matala is Komos Beach with various zones for all types of interest. Furthermore we recommend the beaches of Triopetra and Kali Limenes. Here you are able to enjoy various types of sports like horse back riging, diving, strolling or tourism. With a littel luck you also can watch sheep-shearing. Matala is located among different sights, like archeological excavations in Gortis, Komos and all plenty of ways around this hotel. 1st of all a lot of fossils can easily be found. And don't neglect to visit the monasteries of Preveli and Koudouma. Heraklion, Knossos or Rethimnon are simple reachable by bus.

From airport: motorway to "Iraklion - Rethimnon - Chania". After ten kilometers turn right to "Mires-Phaestos-Timbaki". In a round you now underride the motorway, pass the traffic light and turn right to freeway 97 to "Mires-Timbaki". Continue on this boulevard for approximately 45 mins. This avenue is highly highly well completed at the start at gets more narrow the more you drive. Pass hills and valleys, the countrysides Sivas, Avgeniki, Agia Várvara, Agia Déka and the small city Míres. From here you're ten kms away from the exit to Phaistos, Mátala, Pitsídia at you left hand side. Take this exit and follow the avenue over the hill, passing the cultural sight Phaistos. Drive downhill throught Agios Ioannis and Pitsídia to Matala. Having passed the yellow city sign turn right. Drive downhill again for approximately 50m. This hotel is at your right hand side in green environment. A little sign where you find with plenty of hotel names leads directly to us.

The hotel takes a 50% deposit when they get the reservation. This deposit is not refundable in case of cancelation. Cancelations can be made at least four weeks before arrival. Any cancelations made within four weeks before the arrival will be charged the full amount. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Kids of all ages are truly welcome. Kids until two years can staying for independent. Independent cot on demand. High chairs accessible. There's a play corner in this hotel with plenty of games and a playground in our spacious park. We are a familiar hotel and it's necessary for us that everybody is cosy and enjoys the weekends.
