Rex Hotel Kalambaka

A recently renovate, well kept property with amicable personnel. (11/08 EP) A 2 storey typically Greek looking up-to-date building, Rex features been refurbished fully in year 2006. Our hotel is situated towards the upper of the major high boulevard which runs through Kalambaka. Boutiques, restaurants and pubs are all within several mins amble from the guesthouse. The major treveller sights of the region are the Meteora hills upon which are located monasteries. These are a fifteen minute drive from the inn. The nearest big city is Trikkala which is a 20 minute drive away by auto. The railway station is approximately five hundred meters from the inn. The closest airport is in Thessaloniki, 250 kilometers away.

Dining Information

The restaurant is open for lunch to all visitors and able to be pre booked (for groups only) for breakfast and dinner. It has just been redecorated and now features cream and white walls and dark forest furniture complimented by purple and white desk linen. It's medium in size and able to seat up to 80 persons. The absolutely new garden on the roof proposes a magnificent vista of the rocks of Meteora, and it's a homely site where visitors able to enjoy a meal or drink during summer, in an unofficial yet delicate and prestigious ambience.
