By auto: Arriving from Stuttgart: Follow the A81 and the A98 to their end, and at Stockach take the B31n (towards Lindau) till you get to Friedrichshafen/Ailingen Arriving from Ulm: Take the B30 through Ravensburg and on towards Friedrichshafen/Ailingen Arriving from Munich: Take the A96 towards Lindau, and take the exit "Sigmarszell/Friedrichshafen". Then take the B31 towards Friedrichshafen/Ailingen Arriving from Zürich: Take the N7 to Kreuzlingen/Konstanz, and take the auto ferry at Meersburg. Then take the B31 towards Friedrichshafen/Ailingen Arriving from Austria: Travel through Munich, take the A96 towards Lindau and exit at "Sigmarszell/Friedrichshafen" or travel through Arlberg/Bregenz/Lindau till you get to Friedrichshafen/Ailingen By rail: Take the InterRegio or Regionalexpress train towards Basel, Freiburg, Offenburg, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Ulm, Augsburg till you get to the station "Friedrichshafen". From there, a bus connection to Ailingen is accessible. By plane: Friedrichshafen is the nearest airport, and from here bus and train connections depart.
