This hotel features a cozy, cozy atmosphere and all our rooms provide marvelous views over the Thuringian Forest. The guesthouse also features its own art range with equally arresting and appealing views. The Tannhauser - Restaurant or the Bistro-Bar are constantly open for your convenience. Customers able to also have hours of fun on our 2 ten-pin bowling alleys, dartboards, table-tennis tables and pool tables and we also provide a kids' playroom for our small VIPs. We also have our own little spa with a sauna and massages able to be arranged on demand.

Transportation

Whether arriving by auto it's easiest to go through the A4 autobahn and leave at the Waltershausen exit and continue towards Friedrichsroda and Georgenthal through the B88. After Engelsbach turn right following the signs to Finsterbergen. When in Finsterbergen just drive to the end of Rennsteigstrasse and turn left. You'll see the inn on your left after 200 yards. Whether arriving by train, the nearest ICE (InterCityExpress) station is Gotha Hauptbahnhof which is around twenty kilometres away, and Finsterbergen able to be reached by mass transport. ...ALTERNATIVELY......take a regional train to Friedrichroda train station (7 kilometres away), and we able to pick you up from the station free.
