Summer months in Bernau is highly relaxing for strolls via the Black Forest. There are many activities for the more adventurous. Paragliding on the surrounding mountains, swimming, boating and windsurfing in the surrounding lakes of Schluchsee and Titisee. In the winter you are able to go skiing, sledge, or snowboard over the mountains nearby the countryside. There are also plenty of other skiing districts surrounding.
