General Information

In the center of Paris 9, the recent Joyce Hotel opened in November 2009. A accord of comfort, elegance and superior brightness, a pure specimen of Parisian cordiality. Every room is peculiar, the hall under the diamond roof drawers you to linger.

Bedheads have been replaced by architectural constructions, bookshelves that evoke the literary spirit of the Saint Georges quarter, in a play on the decor of Fornasetti.
Fornasetti is seen again in the wall tiling (by Surface) of the bathrooms, in which the basins are an original design by Sopha Industrie.
Jasper Conran covers wardrobe doors in cloth for Designers Guild, and Mosh-Umbra mirrors hang over desks reminiscent of dressing tables. In various apartments may be found Conran bedside tables, and chairs from Thonet (Gastenstuhl), Dharma (Lavenham, by Patricia Urquoila) or Philippe Starck (pip-e).
Philippe Maidenberg features planned the plurality of the furniture, the desks being one sample, and still the carpet was made from a scan of Philippes Prince of Wales check trousers! Everything is exquisite and light-hearted except for the attention lavished on the clients: their well-being and welcome is treated extremely seriously. From iPod docking stations to organic toiletries, everything is patterned to take attention of customers in an ambience full of fun.
The clear bedrooms of the Joyce Hotel are all various in conditions of the colours and the furniture used, the cosiness of every expressing the hotels spirit of fun.

Dining Information

The radiant dining room is enclosed by a roomy metal-framed glass atrium in the atmosphere of Eiffel, looking onto a wall of verdure.
The original floor tiling features been conserved in this apartment, which also presents some surprising pieces of furniture, such as the eight-metre long bench upholstered with leather seats recovered from sumptuous autos, a wall of tilted mirrors that reflect light and the sky, a wall of bud vases, screens which show a film of clouds drifting across a blue sky (by Lezarts Production) and a big illuminated, moving cloud suspended above the suite (from Vialuce).
Additionally, there is Thonet seating by Eddie Harlis (1954) and a choice of painted wooden dolls by Girard (a Vitra production), completing a authentic banquet for the eyes!
