Skandia Hotel Helsingor

General Information

Hotel Skandia is an older cozy city hotel. The apartments within every category vary both in size and appearance, but all are light and a lot of have a fabulous view.

The larger apartments are located agaist the streets, whilst the smaller overlooks our back yard and are hereby disconnected from any kind of possible din from the streets.

Hotel Skandia able to likewise offer a handicap-friendly suite with bath/toilet, which encounter visitors using a wheelchair. We do have an lift, but whether there is need for assist to receive up the steps from the avenue to the reception desk, the personnel in the reception desk is willing to provide any aid in this regard.

Rooms on first and second floor, are all non-smoking rooms. It's allowed to smoke in the apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors.

Smaller, restful dogs may be brought along into the inn in some of the suites. It's prohibited to bring cats, birds and other pets into the inn.

All suites have TV-sets and wi-fi access.

The reception desk is open days on end each day of the year. During the night the entrance hall door remains/is maintained locked, but you just ring the doorbell whether arriving between 24 and 07 hours.

Hotel Skandia is an old-time, cozy, acurately restored family hotel in the center of Helsingør.

Hotel Skandia is comfortably situated, fourty minutes from Copenhagen central station and a two-minute stroll from the Helsingør train station and ferry terminal. Kronborg palace is reachable on foot in less than 10 min.

The international Arts museum “Louisiana” is a 20 minute bus ride away (bus no. 388).

A famous range of boutiques makes Helsingør the shopping Mecca of northern Zealand. Further to the Swedish town of Helsingborg, a 20 minute ferry ride away (three ferry connections), proposes a big variety of fascinating boutiques. Close to Helsingborg is also the recent mall center of Soder, in addition to the Vala center, both containing a few pleasant restaurants. Hotel Skandia features double suites and family suites, single apartments, all nicely decorated.

Most apartments have en-suite amenities and all have a brand-new color TV. We provide a superior breakfast snack bar, catered in recently refurbished premises on the 2nd floor.
