Borik Hotel Lumbarda

General Information

Hotel Borik is situated in the centre of the small countryside of Lumbarda, only several steps from the central street and with a vista on the dock Lumbarda and the Peljesac peninsula. The hotel's nice building is the preceding stone summer months castle of the Mirosevic family, today with approximately twenty refurbished rooms with air conditioning. The annexe Borik is situated beyond the guesthouse and features further 60 refurbished rooms with a veranda. All of our rooms are equiped with: bathroom (showerwc, hair-dryer), SAT TV, phone. Whether you wish to savour upper culinary peculiarities, you only have to come down towards the congenial shade of the a la carte restaurant or pizzeria, and in those rare moments of rain you are able to take pleasure in your meal in the roofed part of the restaurant. We are specially pleased of our hall brasserie located on a large balcony with a pleasing vista on Mediterranean outskirts, where you may freshen yourself with your favourite drinks sitting on cozy reed armchairs. Hotel Borik features made attainable to its visitors straight telephone lines, SAT TV, wi-fi i-net, I-net cafe, exchange bureau and bicycle rent facilities. A recently constructed open-air pool with a section for kids supplements hotel's service. You can get the beauteous beaches by foot. The pebbly coast Tatinje is only two hundred meters away from the guesthouse, but whether you desire rocky beaches, we advise you Bilin zal. The path to the beach with white sand Przine will lead you through plantations of grapevines and olive trees and you'll find the sea in that gulf warmer than around the relaxation of the island. It would be a pity not to stay some of the legendary sites close to Lumbarda, which is the reason why the hotel proposes excursions on the island and its environment, i.e. ancient town of Korcula and its museums, agroturism, spot of Mljet (the National Park and the plurality densely woody island in Croatia), the worldwide well-known pearl of the Croatian hiking - the city of Dubrovnik, vine highways on the peninsula of Peljesac, the lavender island - Hvar, spot of Lastovo, to mention only few.

Transportation

From Dubrovnik airport: take a bus to Dubrovnik city and than a bus to Korcula; upon arrival to Korcula take a bus to Lumbarda (6 km) or a cab. Hotel lies in the heart of Lumbarda, a bus station is in facade of it. From Split airport: take a bus to the port of Split, than take a catamaran to Korcula, in Korcula take a cab to the inn.
