The Dali Hump is a community of artists, musicians, performers, writers, tea enthusiasts, and food admirers from across China and around the world. Come and visit with us, relax, soak in the ambience. Or take part in our latest activities, ideas and occasions. Artists and Musicians - paint or play for us and visit for independent.

The Dali Hump is in the center of Dali Old Town close to the Jade Green Mountains. We have double, twin and triple suites with en-suite bathrooms and privately-owned balconies. All personally themed are finely decorated by artists from around the world.

Our huge 8 bed dormitories have luxury en-suite bathrooms and privately-owned balconies facing the old city wall. Every bed features an intimate reading light and an intimate locker and shelves to store your things securely. There is also a Dorm Bed option with shared bathroom.


Facilities and Services comprise: Pool Table, Snooker Table, Free Internet -WiFi, Movies, Games, Books, Bus and Plane Tickets, Tours and Friendly Bilingual Staff.

We cater a full Chinese dishes and Western food made just like home, or unite the communal meals in our sunny conventional Bai patio. Evenings we have bonfires, jam sessions or live music in our brasserie – Full selection of Chinese and foreign beers, wines and spirits. Western and Mongolian BBQ each Saturday.
