A part of the hotel is recently built, but the suites are located in a re-equipped building that's build in 1892. The captivating location of our room (you can book this suite on demand) and the use of ancient furniture are accentuated by the delightful bunchs of flowers.

The suites are highly restful. The canal side apartments can only be disturbed by the swans floating on the water. The suites on the court yard are peacefull and the alley on which the other suites are located is not a busy one. All our apartments are non-smoking, the only spot where smoking is allowed in the hotel is on the patio.

The hotel has a restaurant situated on 250 m further. Bar Belge has a special panorama on the Burg. Diederik Pille is the hotel owner and the cook of Brasserie Belge. Before starting his own restaurant, he got his experience in Michelin rated restaurants as Den Gouden Harynck and Comme Chez Soi. His notion is lively food for democratic prices. Bar Belge is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you want to have snack or dinner, you're constantly welcome.

Bruges is probably one of the best protected old-fashioned city in Europe, and when stay at the hotel you have the opportunity of experiencing a marvellous staying right in the heart of the historic heart. The Burg piazza with its excellent gothic City Hall, the Market piazza with the fabulous Belfry building and its cozy gardens, the departures for the canal trips, the most necessary museums and the major shopping streets are just five minutes stroll from the hotel.

From Calais or Brussels, take the motorway E40, direction "Brugge". Leave the motorway at the exit "Brugge" and follow the signs "Sint- Michiels" and later "parking station". Leave the parking station at your right hand side and continue direct ahead towards a bridge. After crossing that bridge you'll arrive on the "Ring" around Brugge. Continue direct ahead and after about two kilometers, you'll see the "Kruispoort" on your left hand side (town gate number 6). Turn left into the Kruispoort. You're now in the "Langestraat". The hotel is located on the right hand side at nr. 1. The railway station is located a small bit outside the very heart of Bruges. To the hotel, you are able to either take a bus (nr. 6 or 16) that will bring you at 50 meters from the hotel, or you are able to take a cab. The charge for the cab drive lasts about ten mins and costs about ten Euro. Please Note: If you have an arrival after 9. 30 pm please ask the hotel in good time for the code for the entry of the hotel.

Extra costs: Pets: EUR five, 00 (please mention whether you would like to bring a pet in the Guest Remarks section) The hotel does not have parking, however, there is a guarded auto garden, 't Pandreitje, situated 500 m from the hotel. The cost is EUR 8, 70 per 24 hours. Parking is also accessible at the train station for longer stays. The cost is around EUR two, 60 per 24 hours and you'll get a bus ticket to receive back to the downtown. Whether you'll be arriving after 9. 30 pm, please let the hotel know in Guest Remarks as you'll need a code for the facade door to enter the hotel.
