The building, called STADT TRIEST (city of Trieste) was primarily used as the central station and a stable for the horses pulling the stage-coaches between Vienna and Triest. These ancient cross-vaulted suites, which provide the building a characteristic flair, have been transformed into lounges, apartments and meeting apartments. The Triest Vienna is a luxury hotel situated in the center of the underground town. It's approximately ten mins from St. Stephen's Cathedral and around 20 km away from the Vienna International Airport. By mass transport: the U4 (direction Heiligenstadt) and leave at "Karlsplatz".
