The Arthotel Blaue Gans is situated in the widely-known Getreidegasse - the perfect spot to investigate and discover Salzburg. Just several minutes away from the celebration halls, the birthplace of Mozart and the cathedral of Salzburg.

From Vienna, Germany or airport: - Take the exit "west/flughafen" - at the 1st traffic light follow the direction Zentrum (centre). - Drive through the tunnel and at the 3rd traffic light turn to your right. - Now you're on the Maxglaner Hauptstrasse which becomes Neutorstrasse after some 100 meters. - Keep going direct ahead, direction Zentrum, till you reach a tunnel (sigmundstor). - On the right hand side there are entrances to the parking garages. (walking distance to the Arthotel Blaue Gans: from "terminal A" it’s just across the st. ) - If you pass the tunnel, you'll see the Blaue Gans immediately. On the right hand side are the celebration houses, on the left hand side is the horse pond and opposite the Arthotel Blaue Gans with its park restaurant. You are able to unload your luggage right in facade of the hotel. From Italy (via Villach): - Take exit "süd (south)/anif" from the road and keep going direct ahead on the 2-lane boulevard Alpenstrasse, direction Zentrum (centre). - At the roundabout justizgebäude turn right and cross the river salzach. - After the bridge (in facade of the hospital) turn left. - On the Imbergstrasse (along the river, staying on left lane) drive direct ahead, till you reach a traffic light, then turn left and cross the major bridge, leaving the bridge turn to your right. - Keep on left lane in facade of the traffic light. - After approximately 300 meters turn to your left through the arch at Museum Carolino Augusteum. - Keep on the right side along the mountain, and drive through the arch Gstättentor. - Stay on this boulevard which bends slightly to your right, and in facade of the church turn left into the Getreidegasse. - After approximately 20 m you'll find the Arthotel Blaue Gans on the right hand side. You may stop in facade of the hotel to unload and to check in.
