Breakfast is catered from 07: 00 to 10:00, snack from 11: 30 to 13: 30 and dinner from 18: 00 to 20:30. Room facilities is accessible during the restaurant open times mentioned above. In the countryside of Friedersbach you are able to discover our Romanesque church and a Gothic charnel cottage. Further objects of interest are the Cistercian abbey in Stift Zwettl, the town of Zwettl with its historic town wall and nice downtown, and the Freemason museum in Rosenau Palace. In addition to this relaxing and enjoying nature, you are able to play golf on one of the golf courses in the district. You are able also enjoy all types of water sports at the surrounding Lake Ottenstein, and there are a lot of touring, cycling and mountain bike trails in the district. Waldviertel is known for its showy fields of poppy seed and the tasty carp raised in fresh and serene waters. Your tasty meal, made of regional products, can be rounded off by a delicious ale from one of the numerous little breweries and a glass of local Whisky from the Waldviertel. 2 renowned companies have their office in Waldviertel: Sonnentor and Waldland. Both propose regional and, in big part, biological products such as teas, herbs, spices, poppy seed, and lunches.

From Vienna: - From Vienna take the motorway A 22 (direction Prag/Krems) - Take the B3 till Krems and then take B 37/38 (direction Zwettl) - About two kilometers after the bridge over the Stausee Ottenstein, turn left to Friedersbach. You'll find the hotel in the midst of the countryside From Linz: - From Linz take the motorway A seven (until the end of the motorway). - Take the B 125 till Freistadt and then take B 38 by means of Sandl – Karlstift – Groß Gerungs till Zwettl. - From Zwettl drive in the direction of Krems/Horn. - 9 kilometers after Zwettl turn right to Friedersbach. You'll find the hotel in the midst of the countryside By train: Vienna (Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof) – Zwettl (we will pick you up at the station in Zwettl and bring you to the hotel without charge.
