Transportation

Getting ThereFrom southern Tasmania, Depart Hobart along the Brooker Highway via the northern suburbs. At Granton, follow the Lyell Highway (A10) through New Norfold, Hamilton and Ouse. Allow 5 hours for a soothing trip, including stops along the way to enjoy the majestic views of Lake Clair, the smoothing rhythms of Nelson Falls, or to discover The Wall in the Wilderness, a stupefying art installation at Derwent Bridge. From the north of the country, Head via the Cradle Mountain link highway (accessible from Burnie, Devonport or Launceston) and on the A10 via the mining cities of Tullah, Roseberry and Zeehan. Travel time from Cradle Mountain to Strahan is two hours.
