Honeysuckle Cottages are eight captivating brick cottages with federation – era decoration nestled among thick mountain bushland next door to Old Caves Winery three klm north of Stanthorpe. We were judged Runner-up and Winner in year 2001 and 2002 of the Hosted Accommodation category of the HMAA Queensland Awards for Excellence.

Choose from one and 2 bedroom self contained cottages with dual thermal bath, log fires, TV and stereo systems. Queen size beds with mainland quilts, electric blankets and quality linen will insure your comfort whether you"re visiting during the sub-zero winter months. The cottages are all fully insulated, keeping summer months heat out and winter cordiality in.

A tasty country-style breakfast basket is included in the tariff, and every house features full cooking amenities for you to prepare your fine breakfast at your recreation.

The Rocks Restaurant is situated on spot and open for dinner six nights per month serving scenic a-la-carte dishes by world widely-known cook Tony Southgate. Dinner able to also be catered in your house, course by course.

Shops, hole golf course and museums are just three mins away.

There are over fifty wineries dotted throughout The Granite Belt, and numerous Winery Tour Companies operate either half-day or full-day tours. Bookings able to be arranged for you, and you'll be picked up and returned to your house.

Stanthorpe hosts the Australian Small Winemakers Show in November with an chance for social tastings of some 1500 wines entered from all over Australia.
