General Information

Built in 1847 this beautiful building was the 1st to be built in Robe. From its early years as home of the Government Resident, Robe House features played a necessary role in the towns’ heritage. Built from locally quarried sandstone and featuring high vaulted ceilings and rural floorboards, Robe House is now four fully self contained bed & breakfast suites. Local artworks and early Australian furniture and accessories add to the ambiance of this state home, providing guests with a special chance to share in Robes’ heritage. Meticulously appointed, every suite is an individual, with a variety of layouts, which reflect the requirements of the discerning traveller. Log fires are a feature in the colder months, whilst open-air dining under the extensive terrace or in the gazebo are delighted by customers in summer months.
