General Information

Facing the native flora and fauna which adorns the Macleay Island Golf Course is this almost new three bedroom, four bathroom home. Along the facade of the cottage is a long terrace, ideal for soothing. The hall locality is a cleverly planned breeze way to keep you cool although the cottage is perfectly air-conditioned. The major bedroom opens to the terrace, features a queen-size bed & adjacent with a bath. The 2nd bedroom opens to the terrace, features a queen-size bed, adjacent and is light and fresh. The third bedroom features a single bed, table, adjacent, and is decorated with taste in neutral tones. The nicely panoramic gardens have a gazebo with a BBQ region. The quiet waters are famous for swimming, fishing, sea kayaking and snorkeling. Guests able to enjoy glutton breakfasts, champagne sunsets, al fresco dining, arts & crafts or curl up with a book and just unwind. Mingle with the locals playing hole golf, lawn bowls or tennis, investigate the bicycle and history trials. Watch the dolphins, turtles, dugongs or go for coast strolls. To get to the island you catch a water cab or vehicle barge from the seashore suburb of Redland Bay. The Water cab is situated at the southern end of Banana Street and it takes about 15 min to get to Macleay Island. The Vehicle Barge to Macleay Island is around an hour from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. situated at Weinham Street it takes about fourty minutes to get to the island.
