Bamurru Plains is situated just to the west of Kakadu National Park, on the Mary River Floodplains in Australia's Top End. A profusion of bird and wildlife are on the doorstep of this one of its kind bush camp that exudes Wild Bush Luxury' and brings a touch of fashion to a remote and fashionable wilderness. The inn include nine Safari apartments with adjacent amenities and purposed to fusion with the nearby bush and as such exposes clients to the attractions and sounds of the bush around you. With no telephones, TVs, CD players or the distinctive has of a hotel apartment to distract you, your focus turns to the nearby vicinage. Our idea is easy - we have focussed on key creature comforts, a supremely homely bed, 100% cotton linen, spacious soft bathtowels, a high pressure shower and providing lots of space. Meals are wholesome and pioneering with a hint of native make in a lot of dishes. Your landlord provides an unofficial level of care that is only possible when you're one of a little number of customers. It's their knowledge of the region that brings the experience alive. Enjoy daily guided activities including an airboat tour, river cruise, 4WD safaris, birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Privately-owned day tours able to be arranged at an addtional cost to Kakadu National Park or Arnhem Land in addition to guided fishing excursions.

On the edge of Kakadu National Park, Bamurru Plains is situated on the waterside floodplains of Australia's Top End - a area of climatic extremes, fabulous storm skies, diverse ecosystems and a profusion of bird and wildlife. Locationaccess: Bamurru Plains is on Swim Creek Station on the waterside floodplains of the Mary River Delta. By air it's a 25 minute flight from Darwin or Jabiru in Kakadu, alternatively you can get Bamurru in three hours by highway.
