The oldest building in the township of Sorell, the Barracks is a colonial Georgian verandah built in 1827. The excellent building and small park house have retained all the fascination of the era, and have been adorned with all the current comforts and facilities to produce your visit very cozy. We have something to suit everyone's requirements, for couples, friends and families, with a two bedroom thermal apartment, two upstairs 1 bedroom lofts and our pretty small park house. We are a four star property and have Tourism Industry Council Tasmania Accreditation. We are just 10 minutes from the airport and thirty minutes from Hobart. The house is situated beside the original barracks building and features a lace canopy double bed, adjacent and smallish kitchenette.
