General Information

San Mateo is situated in the center and just fifty m back from the patrolled coast between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. We are just a short walk along the coast prom to the Broadbeach and Oasis mall center restaurants and cafes. The premises is also handy to Jupiters Casino, the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Pacific Fair butiques and movie theatres. We have cafe and coffee venues very near at hand. San Mateo also does its own auto hire with superb specials for in-house clients. Our reception desk also features the licence to book all your tours and tickets for ALL park amusements on the Gold Coast.
San Mateo is a four star Mediterranean fashion medium rise building with just 29 suites comprising of 1 bedroom, two Bedroom Family, and two bedroom two bathroom Sub Penthouse and Penthouse units all with balconies. A lot of units have ocean vistas. All units have a queen bed, 2 bedroom suites have 2 single beds in 2nd BR and the penthouse suites vary but some have a queen bed, double bed & a single bed whilst others have a queen and 2 single beds. A lot of suites also have a pull-out sofa bed. All suites are fully self-contained with dishwasher, microwave and full stove, washing machine and dryer Remote control tv with self-sufficient Foxtel is obtainable in all units. Linen, bath towels, soap and starter tea/coffee/milk and smallish toiletries are supplied and included in the tariff.

Rates are for two persons in a one bedroom room or four people in a two bedroom Family or a Penthouse suite. Maximum occupancy is three in a one bedroom, five in a two bedroom Family or 6 in a Penthouse room. Extra people are charged at $25-00 for a person per night. Please specify number of groun-ups and number of kids staying.
